Mars will not look as big as the moon

Just so you know. That was 2003, if you happened to have a telescope with 75x magnification on it. Not happening this year, especially not with the naked eye. http://www.snopes.com/science/mars.asp

I know, I know, I got excited back in 2003, until I realized that I didn't have a telescope and didn't know when my old Physics/Astronomy professor was going to be at Burnaby Lake showing off the night sky. I believe he still goes there every lunar eclipse with his class. (And that was Astronomy, not Astrology...that I had to teach myself. Haven't done it yet though.)
