New school year
No time, no time. No summer vacation for me yet. I've been working. Tomorrow will be my fourth day of toc-ing, and it's only going to be the 7th day of school. I tried getting my camera to load some pictures of Quentin in pajamas that he got for his birthday, that he loves and wanted to show how much he loved them to the person who got them for him (Gran), but...it's just not working. Patience, and it will happen. One day.
Quentin started Kindergarten yesterday, although he started at his daycare within the school building last week. Most of his classmates are in the child care program, so he's been meeting them and making new friends even before class started. I haven't heard any complaints about his class yet. And, well, the glue wasn't working properly to hold his binoculars together the other day when he was making them, and he doesn't always get as much time as he would like on the computer, but other than that, things seem to be going quite well.
Jade is doing fine at daycare without her brother, but she does miss him. Took him a few days before he realized he really misses spending time with her too. So now, when I bring one to pick up the other, they both look for the greeting hugs from their sibling.
Quentin has also started mini soccer lessons that introduce the ideas behind soccer (dribbling, no hands, etc.) to kids 3-5 years old. We've had one so far, and he seemed to quite like it. Next one is tomorrow night. Should get a better feel then.
Now, I did say that Quentin was in school. As such, the fundraising has started already. Quentin, and his school's PAC, would like to offer you the opportunity to purchase an Entertainment book for $46. Please let us know ASAP as the forms need to be in by next week. We can even get you a book for another part of North America, if you so desire. (There's even one for the Okanagan Valley...it's only $35. Portland is $25. Hawaii is $35.)
Sleep is necessary. Take care all.
